Terms of Service

These terms are between SchoolYug (Indore, Madhya Pradesh) and the school that takes the service. Teachers, parents and students use it through their school, on the accounts the school gives them.

Each person has their own login and should not share it. The school decides who gets which role, and the role decides what that person can see. When a staff member leaves, it is the school’s responsibility to end their access.

The information in the system is what the school puts there. Keeping it accurate, and having the right to hold it in the first place, is the school’s responsibility — including any consent it needs from parents and staff.

Fees are those set out in the plan agreed with the school, based on student numbers. If rates change, the school is told first and the change applies from the next billing cycle, never the current one.

The school’s. We hold it on the school’s behalf, not for ourselves. A school can export its data whenever it asks, including on the way out. How it is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

We work to keep the service running continuously, but no online service can promise to be available at all times. Planned maintenance is announced in advance and kept outside the school’s busy hours. We do not offer an uptime guarantee today — if your school needs one in writing, talk to us.

A school can stop at any time; the current cycle is not refunded, but nothing is charged after it. We would only suspend a school for unpaid dues or misuse of the system, and we would give notice first so the school can take its data out.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and schools are told. These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes fall under the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. For any question, write to us: hello@schoolyug.in
